Ocean Villas #104
This condo could use some TLC. Floors were very dirty leaving feet black. Not owners fault, more of a housecleaning issue. Very little lighting in kitchen and minimal cooking utensils. Would be nice to have ceiling fans in bedrooms. Upon returning from Fourth of July fireworks at 11:30 pm, there was not one parking spot available and had to sleep in my car by sidewalk so I would not be towed. Too many visitor passes being distributed?? Was not happy due to the amount I paid per night for staying. This is not an owners fault, and I was offered additional day to stay after calling it to their attention, however, this should be something to be addressed by this association in the future. On a brighter note, the elevator was very close for my elderly mother.

Could Have Been Better
We actually rented two 3-bedroom units and this particular unit had two of our grown children with their spouses and two grandkids. We spent a week there for a large Family Reunion and it was great to have everyone in close proximity but unfortunately the pool next to the Gazebo was planned to be our gathering spot and it was closed for most of the entire week. The pool closure prevented some of our elderly relatives, who rented units right next to the pool, to be able see everyone since they had to go to the small pool or ended up going to town or the beach rather than stay and socialize with other relatives. The small pool was way too small for a gathering area, so our reunion was disjointed. We still had fun, but having a central gathering area was severely missing. We did have fun and the proximity to the beach and to town was great. The staff at the Condo was not the friendliest and sometimes rude. One staff member was observed rooting through the truck bed of my son-in-law. This unit was furnished more spacious than our other unit. With an unfriendly staff it would be difficult to recommend this place to a friend.

Ocean Villas 104
We have been guest at Ocean Villas for many years. This is our first stay in Condo 104. Overall our stays have always been very good, Ocean Villas is nice, clean, well maintained and centrally located. All of the condo's are nice, but some are always better than others. Unit 104 was nice, but somewhat dated. The kitchen was not adequately equipped. Silverware for example contained only 6 spoons and there was a lot of mix and match in every area. The owners need to update and better equip the kitchen, provide more lighting in the living area, and put ceiling fans in all bedrooms.

Unit 104
The carpeting in our unit was filthy and the rugs in the master bath were dirty and in need of replacement. The balcony furniture was terrible; rusty metal chairs and dirty plastic chairs. The beachside pool was a construction zone eyesore and the fact that we were not told that it would not be functional until shortly before our visit was disappointing. Overall, we didn't get what we paid for.

furniture is old, bad shape but did replace it.
some of the bowles & pans were dirty. very few channels to watch on tv & it was a cold winter here so more channels would be helpful. kitchen appliances in bad shape. [new oven] furnace did not work 2 coldest nights, but was fixed. resort rentals were great to deal with & very receptive. so relly only complaint was tv channels & old furniture & equiptment. loved the area many things to do &places to eat.

love the area & things to do. my condo needs updated!!! old uncomfortable furniture. shower takes forever to get hot water & has bad handle.
oven is in old & in bad shape.

I'm very pleased with this area and condo!!
I'm here for work and and staying in the condo for an extended stay. The area is perfect. The beach access is easy! It's very quiet and the people are friendly. It's been a great stay and I look forward to the rest of my visit. The property management company has been really helpful and very informative.

Happy with Ocean Villas and Resort Rentals. Loved the location and condo was roomy and kitchen well equipped. Plenty of closet space and king bed very comfortable. Queen bed needs to be replaced. Now the bad news. Living room furniture worn and uncomfortable, balcony table wobbly, metal chairs rusted, resin chairs had to be cleaned, full of mildew. Vertical blinds need replacing, twin bedroom blind doesn't open and bedroom windows frozen shut from corrosion I think. Digital display on microwave doesn't work. Some stove burners heat erratic. Basically the unit needs to be updated.

Overall positive.well equipped kitchen, plenty of storage, beds comfortable,nice location. Negatives were balcony furniture not good. Metal chairs are rusted, resin chairs had to be cleaned, full of mildew, table rickety. Windows in two bedrooms won't open ( due to corrosion I believe)' can't get fresh air in. Living room furniture needs cleaning or replacement, not comfortable. Burners on stove hard to regulate. Need new curtain in queen bedroom for privacy. Vertical blinds on both sliders don't work correctly. Blind in twin room doesn't work. Very satisfied with Resort Rentals, friendly, responded to couple of problems promptly.
