Family with friends trip

Great experience
My family of 7 was very comfortable here. The condo was spacious, the grounds and the two pools were beautiful, and we loved the proximity to the beach. The residents of Ocean Villas were very friendly, as well.

Home away from home
After staying on this condo several times, we consider it our home away from home. Conveniently located, 2 amazing pools and a quick walk to the beach. Private, secure and quiet. Beautiful condo with all the amenities.

Great Condo in St. Augustine Beach
This 3BR unit was great for my family. The kitchen was nicely stocked so I had no problems making dinner. The beds were comfortable. The living room furniture could use some updating, but overall, we were very happy with our stay.

Solid quality .... Not perfect.
We had a solid stay for four days. Check in is convenient with “no contact” processing with the dropbox a short one mile distance away. The property was available for check in at the time described. There is no washer/dryer for longer stays. It was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, but not quite a firm or new as we might’ve expected. They are the plenty of dishes and equipment in the kitchen. “Starter foods or spices” were not available.... expected in today’s world. There were a few cobwebs under the furniture, not a bother for our group. Foot rests a bit stained. Pools were nice .... One was heated. Pools only open at 9 AM. Not convenient for AM lap swimmers. Beautiful beach ... very convenient access. Mark you location. Easy to get “beach lost”. There were no beach towels, somewhat of a surprise for the money asked and the proximity to the beaches. You could use bath towels, but we wouldn’t. Hot tub was advertised but in fact, it’s been closed for over a year according to long-term tenants. Parking was easy and available. Lots of big screen TVs. The Internet worked well. There was a nice balcony with pool views. There is an elevator if you look at for it for second floor access. Check out time of 10 o’clock is a bit early considering the property wasn’t serviced until well into afternoon to support 4 PM check in. We left it as we found it. Just facts here .... We would rent again.

Relaxing Time in St Augustine

Very disappointing
Very disappointed that I had no ocean view except from the front door. The property was not very clean and the fridge went out on the 2nd day. Had to run to a different floor on the other side of the building to use a fridge, besides all the ice we had to buy to keep our drinks cool. Very pricey cheese purchased in France went bad. Owner at 1st had a very nonchalant attitude and very aggressive. Later he refunded me some money for the inconvenience and food spoilage.

Wonderful family vacation!
Overall, a great vacation. However, there needs to be more umbrella tables by the pool. Some guests leave their towels, coolers, and other belongings there all day to keep others from using them.

Quick weekend getaway

Good rental
Good location. Plenty of room for 6 people. Sadly, I would not rent this particular unit because of musty smell in master bedroom.Sink was slow, they didn’t come till day we left. Good pools, had beach chairs and umbrella, toys.Overall good community.

Relaxing facility
This condo has plenty of space for a family of five plus an infant. The proximity to the ocean and two pools helped us all to enjoy a relaxing week. The furnishings are, for the most part, comfortable. It would be nice to have another chair in a bedroom or the living area (apart from the dining table chairs). The PVC chairs on the patio were comfortable for a quiet space, but rickety.
Two suggestions for maintenance: First, the bathroom sink in the suite backed up the instant that we turned the water on. It made us question whether water was even used in the last cleaning. Rather than wait for management, we used a plunger to push the clog out--but it returned by the end of the week.
Second, and more tiresome, the box to enter the gate code for parking should be replaced. The # key sticks, so that if you make a mistake, you have to sit there for five minutes or more until it unsticks. At the same time, some of the other keys were extremely susceptible to double-clicking accidentally, increasing the odds of making a mistake. There were multiple times that we were waiting behind someone with traffic backing up onto A1A as they tried to get it to work--certainly not what you want, nor expect in a place this nice!

Wonderful Time in St. Augustine
We've rented at Ocean Villas through Resort Rentals for many years, and we'll be coming back for many more! As always, the best customer service from an amazing team. Small hiccup with our rental fee and they took care of it immediately no questions asked. Unit 86 was very nice - our second time in that unit. Looking forward to coming back in 2023.

Wonderful
The property was exactly like the pictures shown and very clean. The owner was very helpful when we couldn’t get on Wi-Fi and the manager called us right back when we had a small issue with the bathroom. I would definitely recommend this property for its location and view of the heated lagoon pool. Our family enjoyed the beautiful beach, the Beachside Diner, Island Doughnuts, and going into St. Augustine.

ocean villa condo on the beach
our condo was clean and spacious, Had a nice view of the complex pool.The beach was beautiful. Easy to find close to activities like mini golf and restaurants like the beach comber. Kitchen could be improved by more pots and pans. The resort management was very helpful, responsive and easy to reach!

Great vacation spot!
Unit #86 on the 2nd floor is very pretty.Nice balcony area with view of the lagoon pool.3 rooms are good size.Sofa bed isn't comfortable.Twin beds are noisy when you move.The King and Queen beds are comfortable.Nice big closets.Both bathrooms are pretty.The oven worked fine,but I couldn't see the cook time display.Kitchen was big with beautiful countertops.The dishwasher wasn't available to use,because a new part was needed that hadn't been received yet to replace it.I had to hand wash our dishes all week.Living room area was comfortable.I loved the laundry room for the unit.You walk outside your unit and to your right is a locked laundry room for your private use.The beach toys are also stored in the laundry room.Huge washer drum that had no problem with big beach towel loads.Big dryer.I thought the laundry room was a very smart design.2 nice pools,but no hot tub.Short walk to the beautiful white sand beach.We found a lot of whole shells while walking the beach,and great waves!My family loved the roller carts are available for the guest.Over all the the condo served our families needs fine.We loved the perfect weather and very little wasn't even crowded on Memorial Day weekend.Many sites to visit.Food was great!Dinners are a bit pricey.We plan to visit again in the 's a nice change from crowded destinations.We appreciated the great rate since we booked 2 weeks prior to our stay.Thank you to the owner for an awesome vacation spot.

Lovely Week in a Lovely Spot
We've been coming to St. Augustine for decades and staying in Ocean Villas for years. We normally get a 2 bedroom with an ocean view ... this was our first time in #86. The unit is WONDERFUL. Spacious kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, clean and inviting. The only thing I could possibly suggest is stocking the kitchen a little better IF you plan to cook. We normally don't cook at all but I made Easter / an anniversary dinner this year and needed to juggle a bit to get everything done. I like juggling so it was fine! The management company is always a dream to work with. We will be back next year!

Ocean Villas
The property was perfectly located with well kept grounds, nice pools, and easy access to the beach. The unit itself was clean, well furnished, and resembled the pictures presented. The attribute I most liked was location. St Augustine beach is perfectly located away from the crowds of downtown St Augustine, but downtown was an easy drive with a wide range of activities. I hope to visit again next year and give the property management and grounds keepers high marks.

poorly maintained
Dirty unwashed dishes in the cabinets. Everything needed to be washed. No paper towels, no coffee filters, many burnt out light bulbs, smoke alarm needed a battery, furniture fabric needed cleaning, rugs in bathrooms needed cleaning.

Great Spot
The unit is a short walk from parking and is a short walk to the beach. You can see the ocean over the dunes from the front bedroom window. Very convenient to Anastasia State Park where we had a COVID safe outside beach wedding. To stay safe, we prepared all our meals in the well equipped kitchen and ate at the dining table which was more than large enough for our family. In general, we had plenty of room for our family of 5 (kids are high school and college so really more like young adults in size and attitude). The kids were able to get on the internet, watch some football, and head to the beach when they wanted so they were very satisfied.

St. Augustine Condo Visit
For the most part we had a great time. Good Parts: Great location, easy access to the beach, nice pools, plenty of beach toys in closet, the kitchen was nice and everything we needed was there and it was nice to have our own washer/dryer. Problmes: not enough toilet paper, no kleenex,no paper towels, ants on patio and patio table, 3 lights were burned out in kitchen, 1 light burned out in master bath banity. But overall, it was a nice vacation from life.

Girls vacation away
This condo was meticulous clean, the furniture very comfortable, I slept like a baby. Very large balcony to enjoy the fresh air. Pools in front and back of this condo walking distance that were awesome. Beach a very short walk away. Many stores, restaurants, things to do a short drive away. Can't wait to go back to this condo again.

Great stay!.
This was a really great room. We had a small issue with the dryer, but they had someone out right away to fix it. I would suggest more kitchen towels/rags and maybe some glass cleaner to keep things tidy. Otherwise, this was a really nice room.

Excellent vacation rental
We originally rented this condo because we were expecting another couple. It had plenty of space for the five of us that did come down. The pools are great and beach access close. The condo is kept in excellent condition and the owner very easy to communicate with before when we had questions.

Ocean Villas 86
Can’t speak highly enough of this rental and the agency. Aces!!! Well maintained, fantastic location with access to beautiful beach and close to town. Our family of 7 had the best time in ages lounging around the 2 pools and the short walk to the beach was wonderful for the small kiddos. The beach was phenomenal especially at night, there was no light pollution to distract from the beach walk. Will be booking for next year.

A good place in a great location
What did we enjoy the most? Certainly the expansive beach, the warm weather, the St. Augustine ambiance, time with friends who came to share the days, and the comfortable home base provided by the condo. St. Augustine Beach
The condo was very nice. Twin beds were not the most comfortable because the mattress cover was way too large and sheets kept slipping. There was no hair dryer as promised so 2 seniors left with wet hair in 47 degrees.

Perfect place to relax
This unit was perfect for our family. It has very comfortable beds and more than adequate space to relax at the table and in the living room. It was extremely quiet, we never heard any noise from the neighbors and the grounds are kept up nicely! Short walk to a beautiful beach. We would definitely consider staying again!

086 May 2017
Our vacation at 086 Ocean Villas was very enjoyable. The condo was very clean. The location of 086 was convenient. Love the renovations! We loved that we no longer needed a key to go to/from the beach. Not having the second pool option was a drag ......but the vision of the future pool
area looks awesome!! The folks are all great...from the owner, to the management team, to the housekeeping and groundskeepers! Thanks to all!

2 weeks at OV
This unit was very nice and accommodated our family very well. have stayed at OV and with Resort Rentals for several years. First time in this condo and have reserved for next year. Purchased some needed dish cloths as office was out and mop, light bulbs and shower curtain. Was reimbursed for all but shower curtain. All appliances clean and worked very well. AC unit very good. Washer worked well had to call for repair on dryer toward end of last week. Repairman came within a day but had to order a part. Made do!
