Loved the location! The AC worked great, the toilets flushed and the beds were very comfortable! I will rent this unit again, but would encourage the owners to replace the kitchen floor ASAP.

Thanksgiving family beach trip
This was our second stay! We loved it both times. We have grandkids ages 5, 8, 8, and 15. They enjoyed the the two pools and being close to the beach.

Only choose a renovated room!
We stayed in the ocean front villas, and while you couldn’t actually see the ocean from our first floor room, we really enjoyed the layout of the resort. The large open grassy area around the zero-entry pool was so nice for all of the kids in our party to be able to freely visit all of the different rooms without having to go outside (parking lot area) the resort. It was also an easy walk to the beach and lots of showers for rinsing off sand. One member of our party rented a newly renovated room and it was significantly nicer than the other three rooms our group had rented. Our room was bare-bones, clean but very dated and many of the outdoor chairs were broken, as was one tv and the washing machine. Another room our party rented had terrible sagging beds and the air conditioner wasn’t working properly. They ended up staying in other rooms with our party. Ultimately, I really liked the set-up of the resort and I would recommend staying here, but ONLY in a newly renovated room.

Our Vacation week July 9-16 2022
Love the location.. Next to pool and close walk to beach. Condo is nice. Needs more table space. Only 4 high top in dining area. And small table in back porch. Cabinets have pretty good cooking supplies. Air conditioner not working properly. Was a very hot week. Need to replace air conditioner. Only two fans in condo. Overall the best thing is the location...

Great location on property - needs some maintenance
My immediate family has been renting this unit for at least 9 years every 4th of July. Previous to that we would visit my Uncle and his family when they stayed in this unit for 15 or 20 years prior. So we have seen the changes.

The bad: There was a leak in the unit above ours in 2021 while we were there and this year there was a moldy oder and black spots in the room affected by the leak last year - we made the rental company aware and hope they will address the issue. This issue is the reason for the 3 rating over all on our stay.

The vent fan in the master was not working - we had the same issue two years ago but did not report during our stay because the repairman left a huge mess.

The floor tile in the den(+a couple outside) were replaced with slick tiles a few years ago and it is very slippery if you step in with damp feet.

The kitchen used to have at least three 9 x 13 baking pans and lots of cocktail glasses, two sets of dishes and now there are no baking pans, very few cocktail/wine glasses and 8 plates.

We used to have a stand fan in the closet that we used to keep the gnats away on the patio so we would love to see that replaced.

The Good:

The new curtains in the den and master afford more privacy than the vertical blinds that used to be on those windows.

They have duplicate comforters/pillow shams in each room that can be washed between guests.

The furniture was replaced with comfortable durable sofa with reclining seats on each end so there are 4 reclining seats which we enjoy.

We have reserved this unit for next year and hope the landlord will take care of the moldy smell/black spots on the guest room ceiling.

Nice time at Ocean Villas
Wonderful location and two beautiful pools. We’ve stayed in this unit several times and it suits our purposes. However it is in need of an update. Too much heavy furniture in the living room. Paint needs to be redone and updated to make unit more attractive and modern. Inventory needs to be reviewed. That said, we’ll be back next year.

Spacious condo. Needs updating.
Very spacious 3 bedroom ground floor condo. Clean. Tile flooring throughout, although some tiles very chipped and worn. Kitchen needs complete updating. Some appliances are newer. Bistro table is difficult to have a family of 6 with younger children sit together with


with only 4 chairs. There are two bar stools at the breakfast bar but was too cramped to sit at.
when table was in use. Recommend a regular height table for 6. Sliding door was very tough to open and close. The patio is extra large and great for family gatherings. Caution tiles are very slippery when it rains. Textured tiles or cement would have been safer. We had a few toddler falls which can be dangerous. Full size washer and dryer was excellent! Very sparse accessories were provided. Recommend some beach chairs and an umbrella be provided at least. Dominos and some card games would be great to if added. Rental Resorts is excellent to work with.

Holiday trip
Nice 3 bedroom older condo. The condo complex is on the beach and had 2 pools one which is heated. Condo needs updates including kitchen & bathrooms. Dining table is bar height and in a corner so it was hard to get around. Outside construction repair was being done on the patio wall, therefore could not use the patio during stay which was disappointing. Rental company was quick to respond & resolve internet not working.

As always, FLRR gives amazing customer service!!
FLRR is a wonderful rental company. We've been using their services for over 20 years and in that time we have experienced only 2 issues which were rapidly resolved.
This particular trip, our issue with the unit had to do with the lack of updates by the property owner and, likely due to difficulty getting people to work during this ongoing national covid reaction, the lack of true cleaning of this particular unit(OV unit 61).
Upon being informed of our issue, FLRR jumped into action and immediately rectified our situation, in a friendly, genuine and heartfelt manner, thus enabling our family to have yet another excellent St. Augustine vacation.
I am grateful for the experiences we've had and the relationship we have developed over the years wonderful people at FLRR. I highly recommend them to friends and family, and will definitely use their professional services again (and again, God willing!!)
In conclusion, I always recommend Ocean Villas, and once this particular unit is updated, I would likely recommend it as well.

Needs an update
Besides being I need of an update, this condo had some serious safety features. The sliding glass door track is so bent it is almost impossible to open, I mean seriously it is a fire hazard. The throw rug in living room is so worn it has a damaged edge that is a major trip hazard. We loved the complex and the amenities and the reservation staff were helpful and the check in process was delightfully easy.

Unit 61 awful
Harassed and rudely confronted by head person of association, before we even parked when we 1st got there about parking and not having a tag in our car for parking when the hangers were in our rooms and we hadn’t even parked to get to our room. He was very rude and when asked for help he was very rude again. Not sure if he was with agency Would not recommend Unit 61 at all. Everything in Condo was cheap. Needs a major upgrade for the amount of money being charged. The floors were disgusting, especially in bathrooms and around the toilet. Shower heads barley worked, water pressure was awful, back door doesn’t lock, the 3 beds were absolutely awful. Everyone had neck and back pain from them, our condo that was supposed to be poolside was purposeless because the pool was broke all week until late afternoon on last day of week, blinds were broke and didn’t even have decent window covering in bedroom. For the amount of money charged for this Condo was way over priced and would not recommend for anyone to stay.

Ocean Villas 61--Thank you!
As always, we love our stay at Ocean Villas. Unit 61 is in a great location. Our group is large, requiring 4 units and we stay in this one almost every year. I would have three recommendations for the owners: 1) take inventory of kitchen to make sure there is ample supply of needed items such as casserole dishes, silverware, etc. 2) supply a grill 3) there are no twin beds for those who need them (as we do). Overall a great stay.

Returning snowbird
This year the property was not cleaned as in the past.We have been renting this unit for 7 years for the winter months.The unit is in need of some updates as the closet in the hall does not open and both front rooms have windows and doors that are rusted shut. The slider to the patio doesn't lock which is a security issue. The management company has tried there best to fix issues but there needs to be some permanent repairs to this aging unit. The updates over the years have been a great improvement but the above mentioned issues need attention.

Great Location
This complex is very nice, well kept and conveniently located. The zero entry pool was great and the beach is very close. We had some issues but the property management addressed them to our satisfaction. I would stay at this complex again but not this particular unit as the furniture is pretty dated. The best thing about this unit is the location.

Rental review
We enjoyed very much our stay. Inside was very nice. Only complaint not a larger outside table and chairs and no grill at all. We enjoy relaxing and playing games on the porch but the table would not hold but 4 people. They had a high top but no chairs. Lacking on porch items.

Frequent visitors to Ocean Villas
We always enjoy staying at Ocean Villas. The only problem this visit in Unit 061 was that a crew of workers came to repair items on the porch/patio that took all of one day and longer. There was loud sawing, dust, and banging. We could not use the patio. We did not know the extent of this work until after we rented the property. The work began on day 3 of our stay. We were told it would be a 30 minute/short repair. Workers did clean up the mess each day, but it still interrupted our stay.

Vacation Retreat
I have rented Ocean Villas 61 many years for our annual family beach trip. A great condo with perfect downstairs location overlooking the main pool and beach boardwalk access. Three bedrooms and oversized patio make it perfect for large gatherings.

Family reunion vacation
We have been coming to Ocean Villas got over twenty years. We have stayed in various condos but some years ago we ended up with part of my family in #61. We have reported problems with this condo on more than one occasion. Seems the owner doesn’t want to spend any money on updates or repairs. Hole in outside patio wall, wasp nest we were told “don’t bother them and they won’t bother you”, Air went out last year and again this year. Bedspreads haven’t been changed in the last four years for sure probably more. We spend hard earned money to rent and deserve better. We also rent 55 which is lovely. The week we are here in Juky our family rents a multitude of your condos. I think it’s time resort Rental s demanded this owner do some much needed work. We were prefer another 3 bedroom unit on the beach side if one is available the week of Huly 11 thru 18th 2020. I will also be checking with other agencies. We have

Great Place to stay!!!

Unit 61
Unit 61 needs a lot of updating. Almost everything is original in unit. Some safety concerns also headboards are not attached to bed, dress fell over and a light fixture was coming down from ceiling. On the positive great location.

Condo 61
Great location but condo needs some serious upgrades. TLC. Bathrooms need fixtures replaced or worked on. Kitchen needs more pots and pans. Furniture in living room area is worn and needs replacing. Couch and chair. Mattress needs replacing in front bedroom as you come in from parking lot. Tighten up bed. Sliding glass door very hard to open and close. Rates continue to go up. Condo needs to upgrade.

Love Saint Augustine
We love the ocean villas. Some rental units are better than others, we stayed in 61. One of the issues we had with this unit was the mattress in the front bedroom. If you made any kind of movement, it squeaked, really loud and it was highly uncomfortable. The other issue was that both sliding glass doors were really difficult to open and shut. Sometimes we still couldn't do it with both hands.
We love the location and the cleanliness of this complex. It was less crowded then we were used to which was nice. I love the new pool and diverting the beach traffic to the outside of the pool area. We had an issue with the dryer and a new one was replaced the next day.

Christmas in St. Augustine
We enjoyed our stay very much. The complex was still recovering from the hurricane and unfortunately the pool in front of the condo had to be replaced. Overall we had great time. we love St. Augustine and would definitely comeback to this complex.

Georgia - Florida Weekend
We found Ocean Villas outstanding. Even though hurricanes had messed up pool, the other parts of the complex were fine. We stayed in a different unit this time around (#61) and it was fine. We have stayed with Ocean Villa since 1992..."oldie, but goodie".

Beach 2017
We stay at Ocean Villas primarily for the location. It is getting to be an older complex and reflects it. I do not feel it has been well maintained, and in my opinion the cleaning people do a less than thorough job. The beachside pool was closed and that was a major inconvenience.

Ocean Villas St Augustine
We had four condos for our family. We love OV for its location, cleanliness and overall maintenance. The grounds are immaculate with lush tropical vegetation and spacious greens for the children to play. The rental managers are excellent to work with. On the downside, prices are getting pricier, parking is limited and some units are nicer than others.
